Digital Illustration

 This semester, we focused on learning how to use AI-powered software to assist in fashion design, especially in creating technical drawings. Throughout the course, we explored a wide range of AI tools and techniques that helped us sketch garments more efficiently and precisely. We learned how to generate clean outlines, enhance structural details, and even automate some parts of the design process using AI.


Under the guidance of Mr. Danial, we also gained valuable skills in adding color and fabric textures to our technical drawings. He taught us how to apply color logically and realistically, how to reflect different materials, and how to make a flat sketch look more dimensional and visually appealing. This greatly improved the clarity and professionalism of our design presentations.


In the later part of the course, we were introduced to Photoshop (PS). We practiced key functions such as removing backgrounds, organizing layers, and refining the overall composition to make our visuals more polished and cohesive. These skills are incredibly useful when preparing portfolios, presentation boards, or any digital design work.


Overall, this semester has given me a much deeper understanding of how digital tools—especially AI and PS—can be integrated into the design process. It not only improved my drawing efficiency but also strengthened my ability to present creative ideas in a professional and visually compelling way.

I developed my concept by merging the streetwear spirit of Converse with parachute-inspired elements, aiming to create a unique blend of utility and urban attitude.
